Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use Homeo-Path. When you search for remedies or save results, we store the following data tied to an anonymous device fingerprint (derived from your IP address):
• Your search queries and selected symptoms
• Recommended remedies and match results
• Saved remedies in your Remedy Cabinet
• Remedy ratings you submit
If you use the Contact form on our Support page, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you voluntarily provide.
How We Use Your Information
• To provide and improve remedy matching results
• To save your search history and saved remedies so you can access them later
• To send your search queries and contact form messages to our support team so we can respond to inquiries
• To analyze aggregate, anonymized usage trends to improve the app
We do not use your data to train AI models or build advertising profiles.
How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your search history, saved remedies, and ratings are stored in a secure Supabase (PostgreSQL) database protected by Row Level Security policies. Each user can only access their own data — no other user can view, edit, or delete your records.
Data in transit is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Access to the database is restricted to the application backend and authorized administrators.
Your data is tied to an anonymous device fingerprint, not your name or email. We cannot link your search history to your personal identity unless you voluntarily provide your email through the Contact form.
Email Communications
When you submit a search query, it is processed by our system to generate remedy suggestions. Your search query, selected symptoms, and recommended remedies are stored in your private history — but not your name or personal identity.
When you submit the Contact form, your name, email, subject, and message are emailed to our support team so we can reply to you. Your email address is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Emails are sent through Resend, a third-party email delivery service. Resend processes email content according to their own privacy policy and data retention terms.
Third-Party Services
Homeo-Path uses the following third-party services:
• Supabase — Database hosting and edge functions (supabase.com)
• Google Gemini AI — AI-powered remedy matching (ai.google.dev)
• Resend — Email delivery for search notifications and contact form messages (resend.com)
Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they process data. We only share the minimum data necessary to provide our features.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your search history and saved remedies are retained until you delete them. You can delete individual entries or clear your entire history at any time from the History section of the app.
Contact form submissions are retained in our email records for up to 12 months for customer support purposes, then permanently deleted.
If you wish to have all your data deleted, you can clear your history from within the app or contact us at support@homeo-path.app with your request.
Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to:
• Access the data stored about you (visible in the app under History and Remedy Cabinet)
• Delete your data at any time from within the app
• Request deletion of contact form submissions by emailing us
• Use the app without providing any personal information
Since we use anonymous device fingerprints rather than accounts, there is no login or password to manage. Your data is automatically isolated to your device.
Children’s Privacy
Homeo-Path is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Contact form, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Health Data Disclaimer
Homeo-Path is an educational tool, not a medical device or healthcare service. The symptoms and remedy searches you perform are not protected health information under HIPAA because we do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or billing.
However, we treat your health-related searches with the same care and confidentiality as any other personal data. Your search history is visible only to you and is never shared with third parties for marketing or research.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns. Do not rely on this app for medical decisions.
